I wonder if there could be an afterlife. If we consider this life to be a dream, after 'dying' could simply be another wakening up. Just as a dream makes perfect internal sense while one is dreaming, could the afterlife be on the lines of: You wake up and wonder what that really crazy dream was all about.

Chanigiong the past and then changing it back to the previous timeline: could this simply be along the lines of the individual altering then restoring the timeline be an individual who enters a very short-lived alternate universe?
